Second City Los Angeles–trained improviser teaching & facilitating in Maine
Native Bostonian and current Maine resident Adam Groppman spent 20+ years in Los Angeles, where he graduated from the famed Second City Conservatory LA, studying with some of the best improvisation teachers in the US.
Adam also studied at LA's Bang! Comedy Theater and at San Francisco's Bay Area Theater Sports (BATS).
He was a member of accomplished LA-based group Sketch Armstrong and has acted in several national TV commercials and independent films. He also performs standup comedy.
Since 2022, students in Get Up & Go's classes in Portland, Maine- and now also in Bath, ME- have credited Adam for his passionate instruction, encouragement and desire to evolve and innovate the improvisation experience. Likewise, his corporate and organizational clients have found his team sessions effective and inspiring.
